| The campaign “Adotta un Vitigno” (Adopt a Vine) is not propaganda for profit, but an initiative to awaken public opinion to the necessary restoration and protection of an old red-grape Tuscan vine otherwise destined for extinction named ABRUSCO, of which about 20 plants were found by chance in one of our old vineyards by Prof. Scalabrelli.. |

| The discovery of this ancient AUTOCHTHONOUS TUSCAN
VINE at our farm, whose presence in Tuscany is really very limited,
has aroused much curiosity by us and great interest by the University
of Pisa, which carried out a microwine-making with this vine last
year, obtaining rather satisfactory results. Supported by these encouraging results, this year we have decided to use these “rare” grapes at our farm for a wine-making in pureness. |

| “Adotta un Vitigno” springs exactly from our idea of involving as many supporters and/or fans as possible who are ready to help us in this initiative, communicating new ideas and suggestions for the production and launch of this new wine … but also buying some bottles directly from the producers. |

From 7th July 2007 is officially on sale our NEW WINE, which is produced with 100% abrusco grapes, called AGINO in memory, as written in the back label, of two mens of exceptional virtue:to our father Gino (died ten years ago) and to Luigi Veronelli, who is considered unanimous the father of italian enogastronomy, ever busy in defence of "true wine-maker" and strong supporter of important ideas like the DE.CO, the critical consumption of alcohol, price ex-cellar and indigenous vine.
If you are searching for a special wine, produced by rare grapes, with medium body, a long persistance and good price, which exhibits your name and marries drink with social and ethic behaviour....CONTACT US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because very limited production.
